My bokashi bucket vs my tiny balcony, the balcony won embarrassingly fast
I picked a 5 gallon bokashi setup over a cute countertop worm bin because I wanted zero bugs, but forgot my balcony faces the afternoon sun, so after 3 days the whole thing smelled like a brewery mixed with gym socks and now I'm trying to figure out if I can squeeze a worm bin next to my AC unit instead, has anyone else switched mid-cycle?

My neighbor tried bokashi on her porch and ended up with fruit flies so thick the landlord blamed her for the neighbor's rat problem.

Bury it deeper and cover with soil, that kills the flies before they hatch.
