The basement bin in my building made me ditch open buckets for good
Someone left a lid off their compost pail in our shared basement room in Chicago and the smell hit me from three floors up, so I switched to a sealed 5-gallon bucket with a carbon filter lid that costs like $30. Has anyone else dealt with a shared compost space where one person ruins it for everyone, what do you use to keep the odor locked down tight?
