Totally agree with checking the low ratings first. It reminds me of this wireless phone charger I almost bought. The pictures looked sleek and all the top reviews said it was fast, but man, the one stars had people posting videos of their phones just sliding right off the dang pad. @lee_carr53 has a point about recent reviews too, because sometimes a product changes and the old good reviews don't matter anymore. You really have to dig to see what keeps going wrong for people after they've used something for a while. That charger looked perfect until you saw those videos, then it was a total deal breaker.
