Cool showers fix my sleep after noisy repair jobs

I would stay up too late with my mind racing from loud machines. A quick cool shower calms me down so I can rest properly.

Honestly, is the noise really that bad? Like, my neighbor's dog barks all evening and I just turn on a fan. Seems like a whole shower routine is a lot for some banging pipes.
