That "quietly gotten better" part is interesting. It makes me wonder what we're actually measuring. Is it just raw speed and power, or is it about things working smoothly without us noticing? A lot of the real progress feels invisible, like better battery life or software that just crashes less. The flashy stuff gets headlines, but the boring reliability fixes are what change daily life.
