TIL the oldest wooden structure predates Stonehenge by 6,000 years

I read about the 476,000 year old Zambian logs last week and my brain still hasn't caught up, has anyone else had a dating milestone that just wrecked their sense of history?

Hear me out, but those Zambian logs might just be a natural formation rather than a structure. Timber that old surviving without petrification feels like a stretch, and I'd bet it's just ancient debris, not a built thing.
