My $12 rice cooker burns everything unless I do this one thing
Got a cheap rice cooker from a yard sale in Dayton last month and the first 3 batches came out scorched on the bottom. I found out if I let the rice sit for 10 minutes after it clicks off, then fluff it fast, it's perfect every time. Anyone else have a weird quirk they have to work around with their cooker?

that's just how life works with cheap stuff, you gotta learn its little personality quirks before it behaves right, same with old cars and finicky coffee makers lol.
