TIL the 'best diner' tip from a guy at the Concord DMV was real, and the pancakes cost $7
I figured the old guy in line at the Concord DMV was just rambling when he said to skip the chain spots and try a little place off Route 3 in Boscawen, so I mostly nodded and forgot about it. A month later my truck needed an inspection nearby, I walked in hungry, and the $7 short stack with real maple syrup was better than anything I have paid double for. So what is the spot you were sure was overhyped and ended up being the real deal around here?
