Nobody warned me the counter resets after 90 days, and I lost access to a tool I actually needed
I hit 90 days of staying logged in on my bank app and it made me set a new password on the spot, which locked me out of a transfer I needed that morning. What number or limit has caught you off guard like that, and did you find a way around it?

I read somewhere that a lot of apps put a hard cap on how long they'll let you skip a password change, and 90 days is a super common number. The idea is to keep your account safe, but it backfires when it hits you at the worst time, like your transfer that morning. Some folks switch to a password manager so the reset is quick, but honestly the timing is what gets you.
