Spent $300 on a premium mattress topper and it wrecked my sleep for a month

Honestly, the cheap foam one I had before was fine but I thought splurging would fix my back pain, and instead I woke up sweating every night. Has anyone else dropped big cash on a sleep upgrade that totally backfired or did it actually save your sleep?

I don't know, is it really that bad? People act like a little inconvenience is the end of the world these days. Maybe it's annoying, but I've seen way worse things happen, you know?
