I just hit 500 hours of total exposure on my Andromeda galaxy project
It started as a simple shot from my backyard in Boise, but I kept adding data over two years. Seeing that number made me realize I've been staring at the same patch of sky longer than some TV shows run. Has anyone else had a target they just couldn't stop collecting time on?
Honestly used to think more data was just for hardcore pros. Seeing a 500 hour project from a backyard changes that view completely. It shows what patience and just sticking with one target can really do. That's a wild amount of time.
