That night my telescope mount decided to do the Macarena

Last Tuesday I finally got my new mount aligned, then at 11pm it started slewing on its own during a break in the clouds. I watched it spin circles for 5 minutes before I unplugged it in the backyard in Tucson. Turns out the hand controller had a loose wire from the factory. Have any of you had a mount just go rogue mid-session, or am I the only one babysitting a robot that dances at night?
