The first Hubble Deep Field image still hits different after all these years
I read last month that those fuzzy little galaxies in that 1995 photo were each billions of light years away and some were just 5,000 light years across, which made me realize how much sharper our backyard scopes are today than anything NASA had back then, does anyone else pull up that old image just to feel small again?
