Swapped my gas mower for a battery one this spring and my electric bill didn't change
I bought a Ryobi 40v kit back in March thinking I'd see a spike in the power bill from charging the batteries. After 3 months of mowing a half-acre lot in Cumming, my bill went up maybe $2 total. Anyone else make the switch and notice the same thing?

Yeah I remember reading something from Georgia Power about how lawn equipment barely registers on your bill because the chargers draw such low wattage compared to a clothes dryer or AC unit. Makes sense when you break it down, the batteries hold maybe a kilowatt hour or two total for the whole season. I switched last year and saw the same thing, the gas savings alone covers the minimal electric bump.
