Vent: spent 6 years watering my lawn at night and watching it die every July
A guy down the street in Marietta asked why my Bermuda looked rough in August while his stayed green, and he pointed out that watering at night here just breeds fungus because it sits wet for 10 hours. I switched to running the sprinklers at 5am and cut back to twice a week, deep and slow, and the brown patches filled in by September. My water bill actually dropped about $40 a month too. Anyone else get this backwards for way too long, or is it just me?
