I finally switched from a cheap orbital sander to a proper DA polisher for a clear coat blend and wow.

My old orbital sander left swirls everywhere, it was a total nightmare.

Ugh, swirls are the worst. I had a sander that did the same thing, drove me crazy.

Yeah, "drove me crazy" is right... my buddy spent a whole weekend sanding a table, only to see those swirls in the clear coat. He had to strip it all back down and start over, which was a huge pain. Just killed all his momentum on the project.
