Diesel additive debate, I'm the odd one out after 40k miles

Everyone swears by cetane boosters in every fill up, but I ran my 2015 F-250 for about 40,000 miles on nothing but pump fuel and a shot of ATF in the tank every other oil change. I had zero injector issues, clean oil analysis from Blackstone at 5k intervals, and the truck never skipped a beat. I tried a popular brand name additive for 6 months after that and honestly noticed no difference in noise, mileage, or regen frequency. Maybe my fuel stations in Ohio just have good quality diesel, but I think a lot of additive claims are just marketing. Has anyone else run long term without them and seen similar or worse results?

Well hell, at this rate you could've just poured maple syrup in there and blamed the marketing department.
