Serious question, has anyone else switched from impact guns to a breaker bar on rusty hub bolts?
I used to reach for my 1/2 inch impact on every hub bolt until last month when I rounded a rusted one on a 2011 Chevy Cruze. Switching to a 24 inch breaker bar with steady pressure broke the next three loose without any damage. The slow even pull seems to keep the socket seated way better than the hammering from the gun. What length bar are you all running for the stubborn ones?
