Why I stopped trusting torque wrenches straight out of the box
Bought a new 3/8 drive from NAPA last month, snapped two head bolts on a Chevy 350 before I realized it was clicking at 5 ft-lbs over. Bench tested it against my old beam style and it was garbage, now I check every one before it touches an engine. Anyone else had a new tool fail them this bad before?

Did you reach out to NAPA about the bad wrench or just eat the cost?
