That Tuesday in Wichita when a mis-pinned cannon plug cost us a whole flight test
Spent 6 hours chasing a phantom autopilot disconnect on a King Air last Tuesday, and it turned out to be one bent pin in the J1 connector that a mirror and a flashlight would have caught in 5 minutes. I am not saying pin kits are a waste, but please check continuity on every single pin before you start swapping boxes, we almost sent a serviceable FCC back to the vendor. Anyone else been burned by a connector issue that looked exactly like a bad LRU?
