TIL my grandpa used to feed his flock table scraps and nothing else
Heard my dad talking about it, said they'd just get a bucket of kitchen leftovers. Made me realize how much we overthink feed now with all the special pellets and supplements. Anyone else have older relatives who kept chickens way simpler?

It's wild how we make everything so complex now. We used to just fix things, now you need a YouTube tutorial to change a light bulb. Same with food, my grandma grew a whole garden without once checking soil pH. Makes you wonder if all the extra stuff is really helping, or just giving us more to worry about.
