Guy in my chair said he drives 40 minutes past 6 shops to get to me, and it got me thinking about why
He sat down Friday and mentioned he passes a dozen other shops on his drive. I asked why and he said the last guy rushed his fade and never talked to him. That hit me because I know I am not the fastest barber in town and my prices went up $5 in January. I think people care way more about feeling welcome than about saving 10 minutes. Any of you ever straight up ask a client why they picked your shop over the one down the street?
