I get the frustration but half the stuff people post here never gets picked up either, so it kind of ends up as curb stuff with extra steps. Dana's approach is lazy for sure, but the folks flipping it are gonna flip it whether it's on the sidewalk or your porch. The rain thing is the real crime though, nobody wants a soggy couch.

Wrecked how exactly? Like you lost the files or the brushes just look bad now? Because 3 months of work going poof sounds rough but I gotta ask, did you not have backups? I mess around with digital art too and the first thing I learned the hard way is to save copies of anything I spend real time on. One setting changing on you stinks, sure, but if one wrong click can nuke everything then that's kind of on the setup, not the software. Software does weird stuff all the time, that's just how it goes. Not saying your frustration isn't real, just wondering if this is a "the program ruined me" thing or a "I should've made a backup" thing.
