Found a $3 crockpot at a Goodwill in Tulsa and the little old lady at checkout told me why so much of this stuff gets tossed
She rang up my crockpot and said most folks drop off small kitchen stuff when they move and just never test it first, so half of it works fine and the other half needs a $2 fuse or a good cleaning. I got mine home, scrubbed the pot, and it has run perfect for 8 dinners straight. How many of you check the plug and the manual before you skip a cheap appliance on the shelf?
