Hit 6 yard sales in one Saturday and spent $11 total, best haul I ever got
Went out early last Saturday around 7am and hit 6 sales in my neighborhood before 10am. First one had a box of old hand tools for $3, nothing fancy but a solid claw hammer and a set of files. The second stop was a bust, just baby clothes. Third place is where it got good, a guy was moving and sold me a working Shop-Vac for $5 and threw in a box of random hardware for free. Fourth sale had a cast iron skillet for $2, just needed some scrubbing. Last two stops I grabbed a lamp for $1 and a plastic tackle box full of old lures for free because the guy just wanted it gone. What is the best single item you ever got for under five bucks?
