Spent 45 minutes trying to find a ticking noise on my commuter

Turned out a tiny pebble had wedged itself between the fender and the tire. Has anyone else chased a phantom noise for way too long only to find it was something stupid?

Nah, forty five minutes is rookie numbers for a mystery rattle, you gotta pump those up

Forty five minutes seems like a lot for a noise. I mean, you can drive a car with a pebble stuck in the fender for a while, it's not like it's going to blow up. Most of the time those little sounds work themselves out after a good bump or a rainstorm anyway. Maybe you enjoy the hunt more than you let on, because that's a lot of patience for a rock.
