inWhy does nobody mention that networking event tip about parking validation?
Just started making it a habit to DM the organizers on LinkedIn before buying tickets lmao. Saved me $20 last week at the Dearborn tech meetup when they gave me a coupon code for member pricing.

inSwitched from a big SEO agency to a small 3-person team and saw real results in 8 weeks
Did you have to fight that gut feeling that $2,500 was too cheap for a big agency and too much for a tiny team? I switched to a one-man operation for my lawn care after the big lawn service kept mowing my sprinkler heads off, and he actually listened when I told him where they were.

inTiny trick made my loan application approval way smoother
Oh wow, that's actually really interesting. I remember reading somewhere that lenders actually trust algorithm-scraped data more than PDFs because it's harder to fake. Something about timestamps and metadata that gets stripped when you upload a file. Makes you wonder how many people get denied just because their bank statement PDFs look "messy" when it's all the same data underneath.

inUnpopular opinion: Isopropyl alcohol might be doing more harm than good on old shutters
I had that exact same curling problem on a 1950s Compur shutter last summer. @foster.patricia totally gets it - that stuff is nasty for cooking but it leaves zero residue on metal. I switched to naphtha for anything with bellows or old brass. Works perfect, no swollen blades. Expensive though. Found a guy who uses it for vintage watch cleaning too.

inRant: The time the 7 train broke down between stations for 40 minutes
I actually have to push back a little here because living in Sunnyside for 8 years taught me the 7 train is basically a gamble every time. You mentioned carrying a battery pack and water like it's a big change, but that should be the bare minimum for any NYC subway rider especially on that line. The 40 minute delays are annoying but honestly I've learned to just build an extra hour into my commute and treat it like a free reading session.
