Serious question, did I mess up picking the 15 year mortgage over the 30 year back in 2019?
When I bought my first place in Columbus I picked the 15 year loan because everyone said paying it off fast was the smart move, and now I'm locked into a $1,410 payment while my buddy with the 30 year pays $890 and invests the difference. Part of me thinks I played it safe and part of me thinks I gave up too much breathing room every month. Anyone else pick the shorter loan and regret it, or did it end up being the right call?
