Took me 11 days to realize the milk frother was the problem, not my coffee beans
I spent weeks trying to fix my morning latte, swapping out beans from three different roasters in Portland, adjusting my grind size on my $60 hand grinder, even blaming my tap water. Turned out the little whisk attachment on my frother had a bent prong, so it was barely spinning and aerating wrong. I only noticed when I borrowed my neighbor's frother for a day and the foam was perfect on the first try. That bent prong cost me something like 20 failed cups and maybe 15 hours of fiddling total. Has anyone else chased a brewing issue for days only to find it was some tiny equipment part all along?
