Finally finished House of Cards after it sat on my list for 3 years
It took me a solid 4 weeks to get through the last season because I kept losing interest, but I forced myself to finish it just to see how bad it got.

The last season was so rough I almost quit after the third episode lol.

Third episode? That's genuinely shocking to me, @cameron426. Episode three is where they finally explain what's going on with the blue light in the basement (which I totally guessed, but still). I sat there yelling at my TV when the main character just walked past the obvious clue in the kitchen. You're telling me that whole reveal didn't hook you? I get hating the finale though, that ending felt like a cop out.

@noah_chen17 brings up a good point about that blue light basement reveal. I actually almost threw my remote when they showed it in the kitchen too - felt like they were making the main character dumb for no reason. But yeah, the third episode was one of the few bright spots in that entire slog of a season. The ending though? Total cop out, like you both said. They built up all this tension for what? A shrug and a half-baked resolution. Reminds me of when I stuck with a show just to see the train wreck finish line.
