Just read that the final season of 'The Good Place' was originally supposed to be 14 episodes
Found that in an old interview with the showrunner. They cut it down to 13. Makes you wonder what got left on the editing room floor. Anyone know if those cut scenes are out there somewhere?

Wow, that's a serious bummer. I loved that final season but it did feel a little rushed near the end. An extra episode could have given some of those big ideas more room to breathe. Do you think the cut material was a full plotted episode or just extra scenes they trimmed?

The showrunner mentioned cutting a whole subplot about the AI's origin. That sounds like enough for a full episode to me, @emerycarr. They probably had to trim it for time.

@emerycarr Agreed, probably trimmed a whole subplot. Felt like they were rushing the ending scenes.
