Question about picking between a 9 season sci fi show and a 4 season comedy after work
I stood in my kitchen at 11pm after a 12 hour shift holding two remotes and picked The Expanse over Schitt's Creek, then fell asleep 20 minutes into episode one and had to restart it three nights in a row, so does anyone else pick the heavy show when they're too tired to follow it?

Man, my buddy Dave did this exact thing with The Wire. Four seasons of a slow burn cop show when he was running on three hours of sleep. He kept nodding off during the cold opens, waking up confused, rewinding, falling asleep again. Took him two months to get through one episode. His wife finally told him to just watch Friends reruns until he caught up on rest.
