Caught my neighbor staging a board game war with lawn ornaments.
His plastic flamingos were the cavalry and it was absurd.

Those plastic flamingos as cavalry is a funny choice. It beats the usual boring garden gnomes. What were the other pieces in your neighbor's game?

You know, it's funny how often people use random stuff for games like that. I've seen folks use bottle caps as soldiers, old keys for castles, stuff like that. In my neighbor's set-up, they had rubber ducks for boats and spoons for big guns. It's a whole thing where you use what's around, makes the garden feel like a war zone.
