My game night spreadsheet went kaput on Saturday
I had this whole system for tracking scores across 8 players in a 4-hour Catan session, (you know, color coded and everything) and the file just corrupted right at the final tally. Lost all the data because I hadn't saved a backup since setup. Has anyone else had a digital record keeping fail during a big game night?

Oh gosh, I feel this pain so hard! @gavin_reed I'm right there with your buddy, except my spreadsheet didn't just go poof, it took my dignity with it because I had a whole tab dedicated to "trash talk stats" that I'll never get back.

Wait, was this a spreadsheet you built yourself or was it one of those fancy templates? I'm curious because I've had similar issues with homemade sheets where the formulas just decide to nope out at the worst possible moment. Did you try any recovery tools or just accept the loss and move on? Because if it's a custom job, there might be a way to salvage some of the data if you haven't already trashed it.
