My calathea threw a fit after I moved it 3 feet from the humidifier
Last week I moved my calathea from the bathroom shelf to the living room, about 3 feet from where it was, and within 4 days the edges went crispy brown on 5 leaves. I panicked, checked the soil, and realized the humidity drop from the bathroom steam to the dry living room air was the culprit. I put it back and now I'm misting it twice a day, but I'm wondering if I should just buy a small hygrometer instead of guessing. Has anyone else had a calathea crash out over a tiny move like that?
