My monstera pushed out 3 new leaves in one week and now I'm scared I'm doing something wrong
So about two weeks ago I moved my monstera from my bedroom window to a spot near my kitchen sink in my apartment in Portland. Nothing fancy, just figured it wanted more light. Then out of nowhere it started popping new leaves like crazy, 3 in 7 days, and one of them has a fenestration already which seems way too fast. The thing sat basically dormant for 8 months before this, maybe one sad leaf the whole winter. Now I'm worried I changed too much at once and it's just dumping energy before something goes bad, like root rot I can't see yet. I water it the same as before, once every 9 or 10 days when the top 2 inches are dry, and I haven't repotted it. Is this normal when they finally get good light, or should I be checking the roots right now? Has anyone had a plant freak out like this after a move and then crash later? I'd rather fix it now than find out the hard way.

New growth after a dormant stretch is exactly what you want, not a red flag, and root rot doesn't make plants throw three leaves in a week. If it were actually rotting you'd see yellowing and drooping, not fenestrations.
