Rant: I used to kill every fern I touched until I saw one in a Seattle coffee shop
It was in a dark corner of this place on Capitol Hill, getting zero direct sun but looking super green and happy. The owner told me she only waters it with a single cup of leftover iced coffee water once a week. I tried her method on my Boston fern at home, and it's been alive for 4 months now, which is a record for me. What's the weirdest plant care tip you've ever gotten that actually worked?
