That one comment about my succulent spacing bugged me until I fixed it
A random guy at the local plant swap said my echeverias looked crowded and stressed, so I went home and pulled half of them out into separate pots. After 3 weeks, the leaves are perky again and I even saw new roots forming on the ones I moved. Anybody else get a weird piece of advice that actually worked out better than you expected?

Oh yeah, I had the same thing with my snake plant after someone told me to water it less and suddenly it started pushing out pups.

Oh yeah @verap52, same thing happened with my pothos when I started ignoring it more and it went crazy!

Oh man, that's actually not bad advice at all. Honestly, succulents do way better when they have some breathing room, especially echeverias since they spread out as they grow. Tbh I think a lot of people cram too many plants into one pot because it looks nice at first, but then they get all leggy and sad. Ngl I learned this the hard way too when my jade plant started dropping leaves everywhere after I put it too close to my aloe. Its cool that your leaves perked up so fast though, that's a good sign you caught it early enough.
