I called my $180 coffee maker dead after 8 months, then a $4 part from Ace in Reno fixed it
I almost tossed the whole thing when it quit pumping, but the guy at the counter said the little one-way valve gets clogged with scale and to try soaking it in vinegar. Took 20 minutes and it's been pouring fine for 3 months now, so what other appliance "failures" are really just a cheap part away from working?
