Foreman in Baltimore told me to stop wetting my brick, and I'm still not sure he was wrong
Three weeks ago on a job in Baltimore we were laying a big red clay run in 95 degree heat and my foreman said don't dunk them, just lay them dry. I did it his way for two days straight and the mortar set up so fast the joints looked like trash by noon, so I went back to wetting them behind his back. Anybody else had a super tell them to lay dry in the heat, or was he just trying to save time?
