Had to choose between a 4-inch and 6-inch block for a garden wall in Denver, went with the 4-inch and it worked out

Remember that crazy hailstorm we got a few years back? My neighbor put in a beautiful stone patio that spring. It looked great for about a month. Then a hailstone the size of a golf ball cracked the center slab right in half. He spent all that time and money just to have a giant crack down the middle. Makes you wonder if any outdoor project is really safe here.
