I actually prefer buying generic laundry detergent over name brand now

Used to swear by Tide until I did a blind test with a $4 bottle from Aldi back in March and honestly couldn't tell the difference on my clothes. Has anyone else found a store brand that actually beats the expensive stuff for your specific stains or water type?

Man, same here. I switched to Target's Up & Up brand like two years ago and never looked back. Their liquid stuff is like $6 for a giant jug and it handles my kids' grass stains just as good as Tide. Hard water here too, no extra residue or anything.
