I swore off baking soda for cleaning until my oven door glass laughed at me
Last Friday I was scrubbing the baked-on grease off my oven door in my apartment in Lansing and my $6 bottle of spray cleaner barely touched it, so out of pure frustration I made a paste from baking soda and water and let it sit for 20 minutes. It lifted the whole mess with almost no scrubbing, and now I feel silly for calling it an old wives' trick for years. What cheap thing did you write off for way too long before it actually worked?
