Hot take: That one Tuesday where I fixed 12 flats in 8 hours was either the best or worst day of my career

Jumping off what @olivia_carr7 said, I think the real wild card nobody brings up is the weather. A flat-patch day in 80 degree shade with a breeze is totally different from a 95 degree humid one where the rubber cement barely dries and your fingers are sweating through the gloves. One makes the rhythm feel like a zen puzzle, the other turns it into a gritty grind. Anyone else notice how much the air temp changes your whole vibe on those high flat count days?

Hot take: wireless sensors are not always faster to install than hardwired

Exactly, plaster and lath turns a simple wireless job into a frustrating trial and error session every time.

Vent: Hit 10 years in my Alpharetta house and the property tax nearly doubled on me

ease up a little, ten years is a long time. 3,200 to 6,100 sounds like a lot if you look at it as a straight number, but property values in Alpharetta have been on a rocket ride for a decade. I'd take a closer look at your actual assessed value versus what you think the house is worth now, because that tax bill might just be catching up to reality. Not saying it doesn't sting, but a 4 to 5 percent yearly increase on something like a house is kinda par for the course these days. Could be worse, you could be in some of these places where they reassess every two years and you get hit with that jump way faster.

Watched a guy at KLAX fix a hydraulic leak in under 20 minutes

Bet you watched him do it once, doesn't mean it's always that easy.

A client told me my highlights looked 'too stripey' and I was mad at first

Wait, she actually took advice from a 60 year old without getting defensive first?... @mia52 that's wild, most people would've doubled down on the chunky streaks just out of spite.
