Vent: Stopped at a Waffle House in Georgia and their 'value menu' is a straight up scam
I was driving through Macon last week and stopped at a Waffle House thinking I'd save a few bucks. Their $4 all-star special is literally one egg, one slice of toast, and a tiny sausage patty. You can get the same meal at a diner near my place for $3.50 and it actually fills you up. Has anyone else noticed their portion sizes getting worse over the last year?

Have you tried ordering a la carte instead of the combo meals @bettywilson? I just get a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a water, comes out way cheaper than their value menu stuff. The secret is to skip the sides they automatically throw in with those specials or you end up paying for stuff you didn't really want.

That $4 "all-star" sounds like a ripoff honestly.

Heard from my friend Sarah she tried that all star thing last week and ended up tossing half of it. She said the eggs were rubbery and the hash browns were cold by the time she got to them. For four bucks you'd think they could at least make it fresh haha. She told me next time she's just getting the bacon egg and cheese biscuit separate and calling it a day.
