PSA: Airport meals drain your wallet. I brought my own food and pocketed the cash.

Yeah, but have you ever tried to bring a whole pizza through security... I did that once for a red-eye flight and the TSA guy just stared at me like I was crazy. Saved a fortune though, because airport pizza is always cold and costs way too much. My seatmate was totally jealous when I pulled out a slice mid-flight... kind of made a mess but worth it. Honestly, half the time I end up sharing my snacks with people around me because they look so hungry.

You ever put the pizza box inside a tote bag so it's less obvious? I flatten the box a little first and put napkins between slices so they don't stick. Paper towels on your lap are a must though, way better than those tiny napkins. The look on the person next to you when that smell hits is always priceless.

Took a full cheesecake through security last year (don't ask why). The agent made me open the box, and everyone in line was staring. Ended up sharing slices with my row on the plane, and it was a huge hit. Now I always pack something shareable for long flights.
