My sister asked why I color code my bullet journal and her reaction made me rethink the whole thing
My sister was visiting from Sacramento two weeks ago and saw my bullet journal open on the kitchen counter. She pointed at my five different pens and asked if the colors were from a class I took or something. I said no, I just saw it on Pinterest and copied it, and she said it looked like a lot of work for zero payoff. So I dumped the color system cold turkey and now I only use one black pen for everything, and honestly my daily logs take half the time. Anyone else drop a system they thought was mandatory and feel weirdly free after?

Man, that color system probably helped you spot patterns faster though.
