Someone told me my monthly log was way too busy and I got defensive at first
They said I was using 5 different colors for categories and it looked like a rainbow threw up on the page, so I cut it down to just black pen with a single red for deadlines. Has anyone else had to dramatically simplify their spreads after feedback?

Used to think more colors = more organized, but honestly it just cluttered everything up. Switched to black ink with one accent color for priorities and my brain actually processes the page faster now. Keeping it simple forced me to focus on what actually mattered instead of decorating.

My bullet journal went from 8 pens to basically just black and one blue highlighter. Way less stressful to open and actually use it now.
