Spilled an entire cup of coffee on my bullet journal at the kitchen table

Honestly, it was a huge mess and soaked through like 15 pages of my March spread. I was so mad, but I just let it dry overnight and then went over the smudged ink with a fine-tip pen. Ngl, some of the ghosting is still there, but it kinda adds character now. Has anyone else had a major spill and found a good way to fix it?

Wait you let it dry overnight without trying to blot it first? That's wild.

Fifteen pages got soaked? That's a whole month of planning gone in a second, I would have lost my mind. Letting it dry was smart, but going over all that smudged ink sounds like a huge pain. My notebook would probably be in the trash, I don't have that kind of patience. Does the paper feel weird and crinkly now, or did it flatten back out okay?

Honestly depends on the paper quality. Was it cheap notebook paper or something nicer? The good stuff can take a beating and flatten out under a heavy book. Cheap paper turns into a crinkly mess that feels like tissue.
