Splurged on a $120 fountain pen for journaling, best or worst?
I bought a fancy Laban pen after seeing all those aesthetic spreads, and honestly my handwriting looks the same but I'm way more motivated to actually write daily. My cheap gel pens did the job for 2 years, so is it the tool or just the ritual that's worth the cash? Anyone else gone big on a single item and felt it paid off, or totally burned?

Waited two years of gel pens before dropping $120? That's some serious patience right there. The ritual probably matters more than the pen but hey, if it gets you writing daily then whatever works.
